LIGHT SPEED TO ENDOR! STAR TOURS' FINAL BOARDING CALL

Star Tours has officially closed at Disneyland Resort. Theme Park Adventure was on hand to document the attraction prior to closing and has a heart-felt goodbye story to share with you.

Everyone's favorite giant ape is back in action at Universal Studios Hollywood following a lengthy hiatus. The new King Kong 360 3-D attraction, overseen by Peter Jackson, is a huge boost to Universal's popularity with tourists - record crowds are swarming to Universal Hollywood this summer to see Kong. HISTORICAL DAY FOR KNOTT'S BERRY FARM

On Sunday, April 18, 2010, history was made at Knott's Berry Farm with the debut event for the new book chronicling the park's history, Knott's Preserved. In attendance were several hundred fans and an incredible amount of historical icons from the Farm's past, including Rolly Crump, the designer of Knott's Bear-y Tales. Theme Park Adventure was on hand for the entire event and has the full recap, plus more than 200 images for you! It was a day we will never forget.

Our long-time friend and Knott's Halloween Haunt icon, Sandy Graham, lost her battle with brain cancer on Sunday night at 11:20 P.M.

Words are inadequate and insufficient at the moment, yet we will all struggle to say what it is we are experiencing as individuals and as her extended family.

Theme Park Adventure will post any further information regarding what comes next here on the site and on our Quick Take page. We also encourage our readers to visit Sandy's official blog page to express their condolences and grief to her sister Tawnda and the rest of her family.

TPA NIGHT AT HAUNT 2010 SHIRTS ARE HERE!

As Halloween Haunt 2010 creeps closer, plans for our favorite annual gathering - TPA NIGHT AT HAUNT - are taking shape! One of the greatest ways to get the buzz going is to sport the event t-shirt each year! This year, based on reader response, we're rolling the official TPA NIGHT AT HAUNT shirts early, so everyone has plenty of time to get theirs, and start wearing it - generating more buzz and excitement about this year's gathering!

Features on this year's shirt is Ghost Town's very own Lullaby and her bunny, Christine. They want you to come out and play once the sun's gone down and the fog billows in. Will you join them with us this year?

TPA NIGHT AT HAUNT is going to take place Saturday, October 2, 2010. Details to come soon - but for now, we hope to start seeing folks gearing up for this awesome gathering and showing their TPA support by wearing their shirts now!

One of the things we promised ourselves we'd do at the beginning of 2010 is update our online TPA Store! It's been a long time coming, but we've finally started adding new logo merch to the site, including buttons and bumper stickers for the first time!
