At Knott's Halloween Haunt, there is only one graduating class each year (minus of course, any type of "monster school" that may be offered to employees before the event starts). We're speaking of Hatchet High. This year, those crazy kids are all fired up and ready to graduate - but not before scaring us all to death! Now a Haunt staple, Hatchet High is as strong as ever, both scaring and pleasing the masses with its clever theme, always-great soundtrack and definitely enthusiastic talent team. While there have not been any real changes this year to the maze itself, it was great to see the Prom Queens in action. This group of ladies has become just as Haunt-popular as the Vampire Brides from Lore of the Vampire. "Headed" up by Angel, the Prom Queen in the electric blue dress each season, these bloody vixens know how to work it and work it they did this year! |
The soundtrack used for Hatchet High is always fun; '80s music to the max. Totally! The scary thing is, those were our songs played at school when we were young back in the day! Yikes! It's awesome - and still funny to think that there is a maze at the Scary Farm where "Take My Breath Away" actually works. Only one question begs to be answered - and this is not a reflection of the staff at all... where the hell did the Hatchet High logo go on the main school marquee sign outside of the maze this year? That missing was kind of odd! Hatchet High truly is the ultimate rock 'n roll high school and the entire team should feel very satisfied with their performance this year. From the geeks in the science lab to the roaming Hall Monitors - you guys did a fantastic job this Haunt and did the maze proud. Hatchet definitely still has wind in its sails for another year or two at the Scary Farm. It would be nice to see the maze changed up a bit to keep it even more entertaining and fresh - perhaps some new scenes like a classroom or detention room or even better, a psycho marching band/killer orchestra practice room. |

All of Theme Park Adventure's video files are now distributed via BitTorrent, a free file-sharing program that you will need to download from BitTorrent.com before proceeding to download the following videos. BitTorrent is a very simple, very powerful tool that allows TPA readers to share in the distribution of our video files to other fans around the world at no cost. We do ask that after you have downloaded and installed BitTorrent that you download as many TPA videos as you'd like. In return, the only request we have is that you allow BitTorrent to run in the background on your system indefinitely so that others may pull the TPA videos quickly and easily, as you have. This is how the distribution of our files remains free and is not a burden on our server. NOTE: When you initially download BitTorrent, please go into View - Settings - Seeding; make sure that all boxes are checked so that you will continue to "seed" each file indefinitely. If you already have BitTorrent, please make sure your settings are selected this way as well. BitTorrent does not currently minimize to your system tray when in operation - but that feature is coming very shortly. Please be patient until then; your participation and enthusiasm for TPA's use of BitTorrent to distribute our content is much appreciated by our crew and your fellow fans. Any additional questions should be referred to the BitTorrent FAQ page by clicking here. Theme Park Adventure file content will not download properly without the use of BitTorrent. |
