One thing that Theme Park Adventure learned many years ago is that Knott's Halloween Haunt is an awesome experience - especially when it's shared by fans as a group.  In just the past few years, the annual TPA Family Night has become a huge success; it's now hard for us to imagine our first group gathering event... and no one showed up for it!

Now, we have bigger and bigger groups of TPA readers meeting each year for our special night of madness and mayhem at the ol' Scary Farm.  It all begins with the VIP Pre-Scare Dinner inside Knott's.  Then, as the fog begins to billow through Ghost Town, we make our way into the night - an evening of mazes, scares, a few shows and lots of laughter.

Theme Park Adventure readers have come from all over - London, Reno, San Francisco and Orange County to name a few - to be a part of this awesome event.  Its very cool to match faces with screen names as the chaos of our chat room and Message Board suddenly comes to life for all of us!

The Haunt monsters love to see our group gathered as well - they know that TPA brings to Knott's some of the most dedicated and adoring fans of this event in the world.  Our group is always welcomed with open arms and it's really something to behold when the Haunt family and the TPA family merge for the night.  Perhaps a highlight of the evening is when both TPA readers and Haunt monsters gather at the Chicken Dinner Restaurant after the Haunt ends for our "midnight buffet!"  Fans get to ask monsters questions, hang with them and chow down into the early morning hours!

Knott's Berry Farm accommodates this annual event with specially-priced group tickets and a reserved area for our Pre-Scare Dinner gathering.  It's become a tradition that we hope more and more of our readers get in on each season!

The TPA Family Night for 2006 will be held on Friday, October 13th.  More details to come!  Mark your calendars!
