Another multi million £ ride announced at Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor, the 4th most popular theme park in the UK, has announced yet another major attraction, which will open Easter 2003. Following the successes of Stormforce 10, Apocalypse and Maelstrom, the new family adventure ride will immerse passengers in legend, myth and mystery…..

The old Jungle Cruise ride has been removed and the Drayton Manor lake drained to prepare for the new adventure.

* 200,000 tonnes of earth have been excavated for footings and track 

* 12 boats will each carry 16 passengers 

* 3 million litres of water will circulate around the boat ride  over 400 metres of track will pass through 14 tableaux/scenes

* The ride will last 6 minutes

* It will have an hourly thorough-put capacity of 1200 people
